Our favourite place - always a good chance to meet us there :-)
"Blues Man" Erdem & his girlfriend Nur are running the only Blues
Bar in Kas - This place is made with lots of love & contains many creative
details...all "handmade". A nice place with comfortable sitting facilities
& relaxing sofa corners. Very good cocktails ( the Caipirinha,
made by the master himself is a "have to" ! ) & a special collection
of wines. In the later evening hours they show movies ( big screen ) of really
good blues & rock concerts.
Mavi Bar
Since many years the "classic" for divers : Having a beer, sit together with
globetrotters, locals & divers from allover the world on the harbour wall and
let the evening pass by listening rock music and give comments to the scenery
around.
DeJavu Bar
A nice place to have a "sundowner" before the real evening starts. Nice terrace
with a great view to the harbour of Kas and the wide ocean. Somehow, the owner
likes the music of Leonhard Cohen....
Papillion Bar & Cafe
At daytime a nice place to visit to have breakfast, self made cakes or fresh
fruit juices. At nightime a nice bar. Nice music, a very friendly staff and a
charming & relaxed athmosphere.
Safety
It is even for the ladies safe to go around in Kas at night. There will be nobody
disturb or annoy you. Life in Kas is relaxed - because the people there are
relaxed as well.
