"Mountain and Mediterranean" ( from California, US )

A lovely hotel on a hill in a small port town on the Mediterranean in Turkey. The staff was wonderful: friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. The rooms had a view of either the mountain above the town (my choice) or the blue sea. The rooms were simple and small, but clean, comfortable, and quiet. The lobby was very pretty and spacious.

Chose this hotel after inspecting the very clean tasteful rooms and meeting owner, Selahattin, for one night initially then stayed for four days. The upstairs 3rd floor, dining room has great views of the harbour and Aegean and Erica provided such kind hospitality. Close to town, restaurants and the harbour. We would recommend this hotel and return ourselves.

"Great Little Hotel" ( from California )

We stayed at the Sonne Otel for three days at the beginning of October. The location, on a quiet street, is a short walk from the center of town, maybe three minutes. The town center is a pedestrian area by the harbor with all the great places to eat, sit and shop.

We also walked to the hotel from the bus station in less than 10 minutes. We chose to pay a few dollars extra for the mini-suite on the top floor. The extra space was well worth it and there are great village views from all the side windows. They have a wonderful terrace on the top floor with an abundant breakfast included. The views are beautiful. Spent every sunset at the lounging area watching the sun sink into the Med.

The hotel is spotless and cozy. The service was fantastic. The ladies serving breakfast and cleaning the place were great. The owners are also very helpful with any assistance or advice you might need. When we left it was like saying good-bye to friends.

The hotel facilities are comfortable, clean and homey. The breakfast terrace has a lovely view of the sea. The owner and staff at the hotel are fantastic!

They give great advice on restaurants, activities, airport transfers, etc. They also were extremely helpful when the airline lost my baggage and were slow in getting it to me. They asked someone to pick my luggage up at the airport so I didn't have to waited another 24+ hours for it. It's rare that I've had hotels be so helpful.

The location of the hotel is convenient. The main areas of Kas are walking distance and the water is just a couple minutes away.
