Diving
A rebreather course is learning something completely different
to "normal" scuba-diving - the only common element is, that
it is also done in the water.
The advantages
of rebreather diving :
- Effective gas usage : rebreather diving allows you longer dives
- Noiseless : rebreathers don't produce bubbling sounds; you can get close to marine life as never before
- Less decompression risks : due to the different technology & depht limits, decompression is no issue
- Warm gas : you are breathing warm gas ( air ), which keeps you warm underwater a longer time
Diving with rebreathers is no novelty, it is the original way of SCUBA-Diving
and possible since about 1879.
With an rebreather, diving becomes a total new experience, even for
advanced scuba-divers. Therefore, a special course is needed to
understand the equipment parts, safety, bouancy and usage of the rebreahter
over- and underwater.
